Details

The Barrington BLITZ has been meticulously crafted with routes that provide the best mix of BigBike trails, sealed roads and amazing scenery in the region.

BigBike friendly and well-suited to any skill level, with around 600 km of mixed terrain covering wide open scenic trails, forests, lookouts, and lots of backcountry roads and trails.

The famous 'dry weather only' 20 creeks is optional and will also depend on weather.

This is a 2 day ride, (Sat-Sun) it starts and finishes at Gloucester NSW, previously some customers have taken advantage of the loop style of ride by trailering their bikes together and pre-arranged weekend parking with their accommodation provider or the show grounds.

Whether you've got years of experience or a newer rider, we've got you covered with our friendly and experienced Ride360 Crew, from loading your GPS File, on trail support riders and 4WD Backup with recovery trailer looking after you the whole way.

If you would like us to load your GPS Files, this can be done for you on Friday night or Saturday morning, see daily schedule for details.

Other Information

Navigation.

This is a GPS navigation ride, you need to have a GPS or Phone with a Navigation app.

If using a phone, it should be mounted to your bars or dash.

Navigation on phones can be power hungry and the battery may only last a few hours at best, so have a charging method, preferably from your bikes 12v system.

If you are new to navigation rides and need some help deciding on what to use, please contact us

If you are just starting out and do not have a navigation device yet, you must Buddy Up with another rider for the duration of the ride.

Luggage: On this ride you can leave any excess luggage in a lock up room at the Bucketts Way Motel prior to departure and collect on your return.

There are a few reasons our 2 and 3 Day BLITZ Rides are designed for riders to carry their own luggage. Importantly, setting up your bike with the luggage you would normally need when travelling isn't just convenient, it will improve your skills.

You might be a newer rider, not sure about what set up to go with, (racks, rackless or just a throw a bag over the back), joining a supported ride with other experienced riders allows you to look at different set-ups, ask questions, share ideas and improve your skills.

Not too many riders have the luxury of riding the world with a luggage truck, so learn to pack as light as possible for each ride, focus on your weight distribution and become a better rider because of it.

If you have hard panniers, we urge you to change to soft luggage, it's safer.

Food: Breakfast, Lunch and dinner locations will be listed on your itinerary and GPS file.

Always carry some trail snacks and 3lts of water, preferably in a hydration pack.

Buddy up: Although there are support riders, we suggest riding with someone else, if you're coming alone, it won't take long to meet new mates to ride with.

Personal Safety: Importantly, carry a Personal Location Device like a Garmin inReach, Zoleo or SPOT Tracker and a 1st aid kit.

Boots: We always recommend Motocross or Enduro Boots.

Tools: You shouldn't need a 20kg tool kit, carry enough tools to perform the basics like lever, mirror and handlebar adjustments, check and adjust your chain, remove wheels and fix a puncture (tubed or tubeless) and generally get yourself out of trouble on the trail. Our support riders and 4WD are also well equipped.

Even if you're not the most mechanically minded person out there, there's always a crew member or someone else willing to help, having the right tools for your own bike can make it more efficient.

Tyres:  For the mid to large Adv Bikes, we suggest a minimum 50/50 tyre like the Anakee Wild, Metzeler Karoo4, Bridgestone AX41, to more offroad focused tyres like the Mitas Enduro Trail XT+, Pirelli Scorpion Rally Race, GoldenTyre GT823 or Motoz RallZ.

Our preferred tyre is the Mitas Enduro Trail XT+ (Dakar)

Contact us or consult your tyre shop if you're unsure.
