Earlier this year, Mitas announced some changes to their tyre range, and along with that, came an end to some previous tyres and some confusion with new names, compounds and patterns.
To get our heads around the changes, we spoke to Mitas, and we'll try and clear up a few details for you here.
The new Enduro Trail XT+ has quickly become a favourite for riders looking for a more trail/offroad focused tyre.
The XT+ has a new construction and has the same patterns as the outgoing E13 (F) and E12 (R) respectively.
It can be used as either tubed or tubeless and is non-directional, meaning it can be reversed for extra life.
Even though it's listed as an 80/20, it has excellent road manners too.
The Enduro Trail XT+ is our all round choice of tyre for midsize and large Adv bikes.

All of these tyres (except the Rally) are available in standard and Dakar versions.
The standard uses a Heavy Duty compound and is designed to give the best all round performance on any road in wet or dry conditions without sacrificing comfort, durability, handling and stability.
The DAKAR version uses an Ultra Heavy Duty compound designed for maximum durability with up to 20% more mileage compared to the standard version and is virtually puncture proof thanks to its reinforced carcass.
